Personal
Background:
The son of a
Civil Engineer and Surveyor, Mark was born in Cape Town, South Africa
and moved with his family to Australia, London, Connecticut, Kenya
and Texas before settling in the Pacific Northwest several years
ago. In addition to the places he has lived, Mark's travelling has
broadened his horizons as he accompanied his father on business
trips to far away places like Thailand, Hong Kong, the Phillipines,
New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Europe and more.
Always the entrepreneur,
Mark has been in business for himself since he first received his
engineering license in Texas in 1989.

Personal Background:
Thomas was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He
excelled at math at high school and led to his love of land surveying.
He moved up to Namibia and there the travel bug hit his family.
Over a period of five years they traveled to the United States (twice)
as well as visiting the United Kingdom, France, Comoros Islands,
Mauritius and the Bahamas. The whole family fell in love with the
USA and knew that one day they wanted to move here.
Mark and Thomas contacted each other in 1999 and
this led to the family moving to the Pacific Northwest. Thomas ran
a private survey company in Namibia and shares a similar outlook
to Mark on running a successful and thriving survey practice.
